southampton cockpits?

Is there anyone in the hants area who needs some help building a cockpit? I am looking to learn more about this aspect of simming but don't have the time to start a project myself. I am an electronic engineer, so if anyone is struggling with wiring or design issues send me a note and I'll do my best to help out!

Hi acroshaw....

I live in Manchester ..(not too far from you relatively speaking (!)looking at some of the other guys on these forums), and am starting to piece bits together for a home cockpit.

I am looking into the options of using real analogue instruments (110v 400hz) driven by FS2002, but am only starting to find out how this is possible. I have seen some excellent sites, one in particular of an F16 which uses LOADS of this stuff, so I know it is possible....

Do you have the experience to know what is needed?!!

Hi both,

Maybe I can provide the missing link (West Mids) between the two of you. I've been contemplating this for a while and have the funds to start a project along with a projector, network cards etc and have access to a family run MDF workshop!

However being a mathematics genius and general ladies man at heart, I'm relatively new to the electronics side of things but am keen to learn the art in detail... I made a multivibrator circuit once ;-)
