    Default Computer Casings & Power

After stripping down an old computer I was wondering if the case and the power supply could be utilised again for use with switches or something else along those lines. Not having any electronic knowledge is there any suggestions (please keep them clean)
    regards

The specs for the supply should be located on the label. You can use it for anything that requires any of the voltages listed as long as you keep within the current limits. I use old ones for charging batteries, powering radio transmitters and receivers, or powering auxillary circuits for my simulator. It also should be short circuit and overload protected, but don't count on that. Have fun.

I used my old power supply to power my lights in the cockpit. Works great!. I got the on/off switch for the power supply on the BAT switch.
