Default "Slarty" Will the fresnel work for flight simming?

I keep seeing these on the auctions site's for between $9.99-12.95 will these work for fs2002-Il2 strumovik
Also some say 1x 2x 3x is the latter the better?
And some say it will make the monitor (size?) 52" or turn a tv (size?) into a 100". confused on the dimensions/conversions?
Any advice before I jump in would be great!
    Scott

    Sorry for the delay Scott.

    forget them.

    just search for 'tv magnifier'

these are fresnel lens. available in most sizes. get a 25" for 17-20 " monitors.

    they are reasonably priced too.

Do any of you know a store where I can get one? I am really interested in one, but don't like to use tose auction sites. too much hassle with shipping and stuff, and I don't live in the US which makes it even harder. I would just like to buy a new one online.

Here's where you can order these TV magnifiers from the internet!

The company is Independent Living Aids, based in New York.

to view their products on the internet, go to

    www.independentliving.com/frame_magnifier.htm

then select "TV and Computer Screen Magnifiers.

A couple of different sizes are available. I tried one of the larger ones, but was honestly not impressed with the results. Please be aware that the image on the web page showing clear frame to frame magnification of the TV screen does not accurately represent the results that you will receive. If high quality magnification and high image clarity is what you expect, then you will most likely be disappointed.

I believe they are in the $60 to $80 (US) range in cost, plus shipping. If this is within your budget, you may want to experiment with one, and form your own opinion.
