Xplane 5.66 problems in xp

I am having problems in windows xp with xplane. I get an eror on startup telling me that xplane cant find a plane to put me in the sky with. In my Xplane folder i have Aircraft, Output, and resources. Im absoloutely sure i have planes in my aircraft folder.

Back in v5.66, I believe the 'aircraft' folder was actually called 'planes'. Then there would be the category folders such as 'general aviation', 'heavy metal', etc.
