Hi all,

Recently discovered XPlane (Sorry but I find the XP acronym confusing with some OS from Microsoft)... Have encoutered numerous bugs especially related to Video but that's not the point of my POST.

Here we are, in fact my Favorites airplane is the Shuttle Orbiter. I do combine use of Xplane v6.06 and Orbiter from Martin Schweiger.

So tips is to execute De-orbit from Orbiter till you reach the 150Km ALT where you may switch to X-plane.

Full Re-Entry to Edwards is not easy but does works Fine.
So I had tried my reentry to the Nasa shuttle Landing facility in the Cape (Formerly X68 Landing Strip in TitusVille).
After placing the Shuttle at the correct coordinates (in fact, coordinates from the position when I leave Orbiter software) altitude and speed. I Select X68 on GPS (I do use a custom photorealistic panel that I've downloaded and adapted from an Xplane V5 add on). The Orbiter EFIS swith to X68 and then I get foolish information... When the GPS tells me I'm 762NM from the field, the EFIS says I'm Right here so Doubting I followed my descent round the HAC and then ARRRGGG !!!!! My Shuttle was perfectly on both horizontal and vertical glide GPS still telling me I was more than 700 NM away from landing field...

I just tried to land on a splendid GRASS runway in a town named TitusVille that was 700 M west of the real Shuttle landing facility in KSC (Which is by the way an airfield floating with only water around from Mile and miles away)

So did anyone had the same problem....?? and above all anyone got an idea except than making reentry only with GPS or goning simply to Edwards every flight ???

Regards
