    Default CD problems

I just brought X-Plane Installed it everything ran well....I then Downloaded and updated to 5.66 Everthing worked good as well...It read the CD as promised so I didnt have to run in Demo Mode...I then set My sites on 6.06.....I downloaded it n fell in love with it.....the problem is It wont read my X-Plane CD in the drive....It doesnt even look for it......It knows what drive its in but it still wont check it... I doubt its becasue I have more than 1 Cd drive becasue 5.66 recongnized it so whats wrong? So I only get to run Demo Mode for 6.06.....This is not Fair!!!.....Does anyone know of any patches so it reads my Cd? Or are there anyfiles in the directory I can edit so it looks for my drive or sumting? Please Help!!!

If i understand you correctly you use the same cd in 5.66 and 6.06. You have to buy the 6.x-cd to use this version. The cd u have works on the 5.x-version.

You bought version 5 when version 6 was already out.
Contact x-plane and ask for the latest version.

    XP6 is to XP5 as FS2002 is to FS2000.

Go to the xplane web site the answer is there.

By the way, its not a problem, it was meant to be like that.
