Preflight Checklist

I thought it might be a good idea to put together a checklist for pilots who will be joining the race. Not meant for regular flights, just to make sure everything goes smooth during the race.

Check fuel
Destination & route in GPS/FSNav
Realism set as required
Time set as required
Holding short of active runway

Last thing before takeoff roll should be to start Duenna.

Have I missed anything?

Hi Andy

I had some problems with the realism settings and duenna and it needed a flight sim restart to cure so if I may suggest - the "realism" settings should be done and checked along with duenna to confirm status OK prior to holding short.

At least if the pilot does have a problem with these set-ups it can be resolved in time to do the next leg or allow another pilot to take the leg as quickly as possible to ensure continuity.

OK, I also missed one, be sure to set the weather!
