Default Alaska ATC Event Has Been Completed

Many thanks to all the pilots who turned out for this session in Alaska and British Columbia on March 13.

N180GS_Ed worked his ATC magic in two airports 90 miles apart at the same time. A great performance by the Maestro and all the pilot musicians.

Here are a few pics from the event.

Hope to see you all in the next event in Augusta on April 10.

It was really great fun! My first voice/ATC flight :)

Let's see if I can get the pictures in the right order ...

Everyone hanging loose on the big field - maybe someone should at least paint some parking spots on the ground:

Lining up for departure; Ed didn't really know where we were as he didn't have the airport layouts on his ATC-screen, good thing we were so polite and followed his directions:

On the way - after my FS crashed and I tried to restart at approximately the correct location :):

I feel so out of place - everyone in bizjets and me in my trusty old P38. Hey, it got me around the world, what more do you want (ok, textures for the terminal would have been nice :D - but I liked extending the arm to my P38 cockpit :) :))

    It was lots of fun!

Another successful event. Thanks to Ed (LJ922) and Geoff (CS-33) for organizing and of course to Ed (N180GS) for the great ATC. Below are some screenshots of me (1)Holding short rwy 35L at Juneau Valley in Citation X, (2)taxi into Oasis, (3)Arriving at the gate in Oasis, (4)Returning back to Juneau Valley in the Dash 7, and (5)The sunset was absolutely beautiful on the return.

I think the missing textures are from the novasim texture sets.

anyone not seeing textures on the main terminal building, should double-check to see if they downloaded the novasim textures, filename "nstext1.zip" from the downloads section under novasim in the menu section.

place these along with the other nova textures in the main fs9/texture folder...

anyone still having problems with the scenery after installing these textures, please let me know, and we'll get to the bottom of this :)

    happy simming...

see you all in georgia at the links!!!!
