Official RTW Race Website Launched, Rules Announced

Hi folks-

We've created a website for the RTW Race. On this website can be found the official rules for this year's race (minus a few specific points that will be made public shortly before the race), a news section, a pilot resource page, a FAQ, and a few other things that we think you'll find useful. We hope to use the website as a centralized source for race information – a place you can go if you're wondering about a specific part of the race. Once the race begins, we hope to have some dynamic race progress maps set up, and we will be providing updates on each team's status. Hope you find it useful.

By the way, we'll still be posting the rules in the race threads and actively participating on all of the forums - the site is meant to be an addition to the ways we have of communicating, not a replacement.

I am using the Duenna, but can not adjust the date and time to be current. How do I adjust these or does it matter?

Fantastic! I think I can represent the Flightsim.com team in saying "Thank You!" to you and the rest of the race committee for putting in so much time in making this happen.

The web site is wonderful. Now I've got to get studying those rules to see how the changes might impact us. Can't wait to find out what the 'surprises' are!

I am really *happy* that we get to use some creative navigation! Me too, I can hardly wait for the surprises, give us something tough!!

These rules "let" us go a different route than the years before, and hopefully the teams won't all go the same way :). I put together a small post on our private forum where we can discuss strategy, lets get our smart heads together and hash out some ideas!
