    Default FS9.cfg

    Anyone know what this section is for? Possible that it may allow you to see planes that you haven't installed on your own system? Wishful thinking, I'm sure. Thanks

    ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_SEND=0
    ALLOW_PLANE_MODEL_RECEIVE=0
    ALLOW_TEXTURE_SEND=0
    ALLOW_TEXTURE_RECEIVE=0

    Not 100% Sure but I would guess that the values would change to 1 if you tick all the boxes in the MP settings tab, You know where it says send or recieve detalied aircraft information. Don't think it is what you wish it was cos someone would have picked up on it by now I guess. Definately would be nice to have that option though.
    Maybe in FS2006. Assuming they are gonna bypass FS2005 of course.

    These options have been in FS for several versions now. I believe the texture options allow you to see generic things like doors open and lights on, things like that - not the actual textures for the other plane. I have no idea what Plane_Model does. I can't be sure these things don't do anything, because 99% of the people out there probably have them set to the defaults of 0.

    If someone would like to set up a multiplayer with me where we both have these options set to 1 to see what it does, that would be cool. I'd be happy to host.

    This is my #1 wish for FS10 is that you can view basic models of other planes in multiplayer. I hate see Cessna's when the other person has something like an A340.
