    Default Dual Multiplayer

A friend of mine and I would like to linkup for a formation practice and hone our formation skills.

Everything I see on the forums relates to multiplayer sessions already established on the web.

How do he and I alone link together to practice?

Both of us have similar systems and are comcast capable.

    Thank you,

    Oggie

The best way is to get FShost and FShost spy. FShost will allow you to create a game, while the FShost spy will allow him to find and join it. Although everyone with FShostspy can see your game, you can choose to add a password so that only your friend can join.

    Hi Oggie,
    Welcome to our forums.

The answer to your question is simple.

Both of you start a multiplayer session and use our fshost server. simple as that.

Just enter the IP address 82.152.80.185 and give yourselves a name and you are all set.

You shouldn't have any problems but if you do then just let us know and we will sort it out for you.

If you want a private session then you host a game, instead of joining, and give your friend your ip address to connect to.

To find your IP address. Make sure you are connected to the internet and then go to start/run and type command in the run box. At the dos screen type ipconfig /all and look for the ip address that is bound to your internet interface. That is the ip address you give to your friend.

    Have fun.

    Hi everyone

New member to this forum. Just picked up on this thread. I would like to do the same with a friend before we get really stuck in on multi- player.

Can anyone tell me if it possible to operate just between 2 people with teamspeak2 - which I have? If so how?

    Many thanks

One of you will need to install TeamSpeak server. The person with the server will connect his TeamSpeak client to his own TeamSpeak server using the loopback IP address of 127.0.0.1. The other person just connects to the server IP address. This should do the trick. Don't you wish FS had built-in voice comms?

Many thanks, Jared for your reply. You are very helpful. We'll have a go and see if we can configure it. Yes I agree it now seems such an obvious feature - maybe FS2006!

    thanks
