"What's the best place to fly MultiPlayer for Free on the Net?"
    On a 24/7 basis...

I was asked to place this message on this forum, instead of FS2004 forum, from where it should have be deleted.

    Hello, Everybody,
    I always fly alone,
    but this is getting boring...

I don't have much Aviation knowledge to face such an IVAO and all those "real" procedures, so all I wanted was a place to flight with other fellows, beginners, and talk to each other using any available add-on software, no much "rules" intended.
I'd like to make friends while flying connected to the internet.

    What are these such places?
I know for sure that here at flightsim.com have some scheduled events, but what about 24/7?? without schedules? is there such places?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dihelson

    Hi Dihelson

    Try this:

    http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshostspy/

You'll find multiplayer flights all over the world, taking place right now.

With many flights, there are no rules, however there may be a single voluntary flight route called a "hop" that everyone may be following as a large crowd. You just join in the crowd.

P.S. Any instructions will display on the screen whilst flying.

If you're looking for the busiest MP server running, it's at 207.127.218.110 - (Web site - http://207.127.218.110:81 )

Busy all week long, Live ATC fly-ins on the weekends and an airshow coming in on the 16th

For connection instructions, go to http://www.flightbase2000.com/member...Connected.wcgi and use the username: Guest and the password: sammy (if you don't have a FlightBase2000 account)

The news is, that we are looking at a 24/7 server here as soon as I can relocate my server. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

You are in the right place D, We have only just recently opened our doors so we are not quite settled yet. I have just uploaded the scenery package for our first MP event. The file is called kapawest.zip and the event will be announced on the front page very soon so if you pop back regular you will catch it.

We welcome everyone here, including newbies. If you aint flown online before then you are gonna love it. Regular events are going to be starting very soon here. we are just finalising all the last minute bits and pieces and we will be ready to go.

Meantime, If you want an impromptu session let me know a day in advance and I will leave the server on for the day. No probs when there is no-one in the house.

Also, as suggested already, there are plenty other of 24/7 servers about.

Thanks for popping in and call back soon. It would be great to have you join in one or two sesions in the future.

Wow! that's great!. I Hope 24/7 basis begins as fast as possible.

BTW - I am a complete newbie on Multiplayer things.
I think I'll have to study a lot about it.
There's some big organizations like VATSIM and IVAO which I find very difficult to understand. It's like the real World, for almost real pilots.

I need some place to begin from ZERO.
And would be interesting to use Roger Wilco or something to hear ATC (If ATC exist).

If some friends could provide text files, links about how to fly on a Virtual Airline or fly Online for beginners, I would really appreciate.

    Thanks,
    Dihelson

    Hey D,
We use TS now for voice comms. It's a heap better than RW. Well some may thing RW is more authentic with the radio like transmissions but TS is more scaleable and much clearer.
    Take a look here: http://www.teamspeak.org

Took a look around for an idiots guide to MPing ( Not insinuating that you are an idiot of course.........lol )and I can't seem to find anything. Whay dont we build one up in our FAQ's.

Ask any questions that you wanna know and as people reply to them with answers I will update them in the FAQ's. That way we will build up a conclusive guide to MPing in FS............

How does that sound. It's what the forum is here for.
