Hello Friends, hope all of you are enjoying the Sunday :D
Well, after a very productive stay at Valera (dont ask for details LOL!!) its time to leave for Mérida city, "Alberto Carnevalli" SVMD airport, located in a valley, right on the Venezuelan Andes..hope you enjoy the flight, thanks for taking a look :-)
Parked inside my friend's hangar
Holding short to back-taxi to runway 3, while a BE200 is rotating in front of us
Climbing out
Turning left and climbing to 14000 feet
Our flight route will take us in a parallel path with the very tall Andes mountains in our left
As you can see in the GPS, Merida is actually a very short distance, but, we need to fly until the city of El Vigia, and then turn left to enter that clearly visible creek, which is the "Chama River Corridor"..VFR only
Arriving to El Vigia where we'll arrive at 7000 feet to enter the creek
Thats the nice El Vigia dam, beautiful city indeed
Entering the valley, as we reach 7000 feet...We already received the weather report from SVMD and we have a green light to go :D
....a few more shots coming up guys :-)
