Default Andean Airlines: Santa Cruz, Bolivia to Sao Paulo, Brazil

    Hi!

Like planned, a new flight in (from!) Bolivia! This time we are going to fly a long way East, down to São Paulo, Brazil, the longest flight we do with the 734-200! Away from the Andes, hence!

See you on your posts, and cheers all!

The plane at the gate at Viru Viru Intl., Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia

Taxiing. We're going to fly the Palak Five Departure, with a right turn after the take off on rwy 34 to intercept the R-132 of the vor VIR, which will bring us to the Palak intersection, thence to the Sacon intersection, thence our route

    After take off, right turn

    On the climb

Some times after that we reached our cruise level, at FL310, we reached the Brazilian border. Just hereunder!

    Keeping cruising over Brazil

Few after the top of descent (TOD) some hundred nautical miles (NM) from São Paulo

On the descent, we eventually are reaching some coastal ranges

Once cleared the runway 27L at São Paulo. I got some (purely flightsim) troubles with the ILS, as I frankly got too much left. Maybe the wind, or something. Need to investigate that

Parked at São Paulo, Guarulhos Intl. (SBGR). São Paulo, the largest city in the southern hemisphere, and the 4th largest worldwide!

:9 Beautiful shots my good friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Sau Paulo, the place of the famous Brazilian Grand Prix :D. What a beautiful country Brazil is!!!!

Btw, no need for further investigations about the ILS. I hear a Dutch tourist was doing some "experiments" on it. Wonder who that could be???? lol :+.

    Great post my friend!!!!

    GREETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    take care,

    Hi!

Thought someone else was going to answer, hence I didn't before now :) Thank for the enthusiasm, and glad this flight pleased you that far. I can swear I intended to do that flight Santa Cruz-São Paulo since a while and I eventually decided myself last Saturday :+

    See you, and take care!

    Hi, forum's other Frenchie!

Brazil flying is not an idea, it's a logics: I'm flying for a Bolivian airline, the hub of which is in Santa Cruz. Hence I'm flying with this 737-200, a nice plane, on the routes they are using it along: Peru, Argentina, Chile, etc, of those Brazil. ;)

I think the interior of the country might be monotonous, mostly some kind of plateaus. Who knows, in any case!... Should you fly there, just tell :+

    Cheers and take care!

Oh! Nice reply, Captain! Much appreciated (and I see that I'm not so far from the real life, hé, hé!)

As far as the plane is concerned, yes, the company lately bought a 747 for the line to Spain, and a 757 (I'm not sure) for the routes to North America! As far I'm concerned, I fear that I'm going to keep on flying those regional routes! Well, I like them too! See you on some of my company's other routes there!

    Thanks again for the comment!
