    Default Sunday MP event pics

    Hi All,
Here's some pics of the regular monthly MP event that we hosted on Sunday just.
The event details are here: http://www.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard...._id=3619&page=

Don't normally go to this length but I thought I would share this one with y'all.
This was just a regular A to B MP flight, or so everyone thought. However, we thew a supprise twist into the event and everyone involved was summonsed on a search and rescue mission en route. No body except for the organizers, knew about it and I have to say it was pulled off to perfection. In my opinion, this has to be one of our best events to date.

Here's the general turn of events.

    Departure sequence at 26L Vancouver

First signs of troubled ship that needs help (This was announced in the chat scroll and in the TS Chat window)

Swift course change to search for stricken craft.

Being lined up and spaced to do the north bound sweep. Stricken craft last seen somewhere near fix 6 on the plan.

All down to 800ft at 230 kts to sweep the area.

Stricken craft spotted by Ed(N180GS) We all head to the area.

    More to Follow...........

    Part 2.........

Ed reports the co-ordinates to sandspit tower and takes a closer look around to make sure no passengers are overboard :-)

Once the co-ordinates were passed on and we were all happy that help was on the way we headed back on course to our Home airport FFJV(Our original Destination)

Finally we all begin to arrive at FFJV for the Xmas home coming.

And we were treated to a very nice welcoming party indeed :-) :-) :-)
In the words of one of our regular pilots, who will remain unnamed (You know who you are :-) ) These were apparently........ 'Stock' ladies supplied for our pleasure, or so he thought Ha Ha !!!

Can I just also say thanks to everyone who was there. You guys made the event for sure. What a great bunch of guys you are.
Apologize for not managing to get everyones pic in there but the FSNav pics show everyone in attendence.

Hope you liked the showcase all...... :-)

Ha Ha...... Never thought of it like that Darrell, guess it is pretty cool. We had to start in something inconspicuous so as not to blow the cover....Can't get any more inconspicuous than a 747 :-)
    Cheers guys,

Hey Mark, you shouldn't worry about not being up to speed. Come along and join us buddy, you will be made most welcome and we will soon bring you up to speed. A great bunch of guys over here not only willing but eager to help anyone get started in MP. It's what we do :-)
