Hello, im getting good graphics in FSX , but the windshields in spotview are not there in all of my default planes, Carenado 206 shows the glass from spotview , my video card is a GF5500 256MB. Is there anything i can do to get them to appear?

Heres a shot of it
Norton,
I don't think so. Microsoft designed the default aircraft to have as little a frame rate hit as possible. One way to do that is no glass. Carenado, and all other payware developers, have ways of including the glass and not killing performance. That's one of the differences between "free" and not free. I know there are a lot of freeware developers that have the same, or nearly the same, level of skill.

Hi! nice capture...Im not an expert, but i think that is video-card related, you need a card that supports shades in order to have some of the effects.. Im not sure though, just trying to help :-) Anyways do a test...fly the Sailplane and check if the wings bend correctly?..Hope you solve the issue!..The Baron, and all other default birds, have amazing glass reflections as you can see here:

Im using Nvidia 7600 videocard and does a very good job
Best Regards
Ok, no bend in the sail plane at all, another clue is the taxi signs are not textured {white} so this pretty much confirms that it is my cards fault, thanks for the help. DARRYL
Any chance you tried the tweak, discussed on the forums a couple of weeks ago, of disabling shader 2.0? I tried it and it made my glass disappear too.
nice, very dramatic
