Default Help - Resizing addon aircraft in FS2002 aircraft preview window

    Hey guys,
I missed the tip on how to resize an addon aircraft in the preview window (the one where the aircraft spins around clockwise). I checked the TIPS Library and I didn't see anything specific to this. However, I seem to remember awhile ago someone posting the same thing. The search feature on this forum wielded me no results using "addon" and "resize". I bet the key words need to be specific to the title on the thread and that's why I'm not pulling up this old post.

Anyways, can anyone help me resize my A320 in the preview pane?
    Thanks.

Download and install tcdf-eng.zip, while your at it get mdlrepair.zip for those occasions of repairing corrupted mdls.

I'm just curious. What do those programs do? What is an .mdl file, anyway.

The *.mdl file contains the code for the visual model you see in the virtual cockpit and the outside views of the aircraft. Up to FS2000, it was a *.dll style file that can be executed. FS2002 has changed this file format and is no longer a *.dll style file.

The MDLRepair file open the *.mdl file enough to correct an error in pointers or length of the file. The tcdf-eng.zip file is a program to open the *.mdl to size the model that comes up in the select a flight menu. Some aircraft are so large you could not see the entire aircraft and some are so small that it was hard to realize their size.

Neither of these files will work on an fs2002 default or GMax generated *.mdl file.
