Ahhhh..An Aircraft that is Near and Dear to my Heart!! Nice shots...

Reminds me of a little something...I have been working on the Raptor since Ship 1...When we Finally got that aircraft ready to deliver to Edwards...I was hanging around the aircraft...A mechanic came up to the ground refueling door...in one hand he had a little pouch looking thing...in the other a rivet squeezer...I watched as he riveted this little pouch onto the inside of the door...when he was done I asked "What the heck is that"...He Replied a "Credit Card"..I asked "For What"..He went on to explain that if the Raptor had a problem and couldn't "Tank" or the Tanker had a problem and had to abort...They wanted to be sure the pilot could get some gas...He lifted the card out of the pouch..sure enough...A Gas Card...

At that time I thought...How wicked that would be...to be sitting at some airport and see a F-22A Raptor coming in to refuel...That would Blow some Minds for sure...

Your Screenies reminded me of that...

As it turns out...they wound up pulling the wings off and loading it into a C-5 instead...So it didn't wind up flying out there...I forget why that decision was made...

    Sorry to Ramble...

    Happy Holidays..

that top shot is very good.

I like the last pic near the GA bird. And the closest plane's tail section make me think of snow drifts framing the pic at the bottom
