Hey folks,
Hope you're all having a relaxing weekend. These are some shots I took yesterday evening of my flight from Vegar to Reykjavik. For the most part it was an uneventful flight, but the weather on both ends of the flight was certainly interesting. Aircraft used was the Cessna 337 Skymaster, so here we go...
Shortly after leaving Vegar, heavy weather in the vicinity!
In the cruise at FL100.
Over some heavy weather in the Atlantic.
Sun Setting in the distance.
First sight of land as I cross the southern coast of Iceland.
Weather starts to thicken up.
Birdseye view.
Beginng the Descent into Reykjavik.
About to turn onto a long final. Some thick weather ahead.
One from the flight deck, Runway in sight.
The landing proceeded as normal. Really getting a feel for this A/C!
Have a good day everyone.
Many Regards
Dan :-)
