Captain Sim C-130 Repaint Is Nearing Completion...

and I must tell you that the repaint templates are simply awesome! They are somewhat different than what I am used to, and I had to pick a multi-colored aircraft as my first one! Why did I do that? LOL She is at the 80% complete stage, and thought you might want to have a look! Sorry about the banner...Nothing I could do about that! And, no skis are on the beta model either! But, I liked the paint scheme. Enjoy the preview and comments welcome as always..

Impressive to see a USN VXE-6 ANTARCTICDEVRON SIX Hercules. They were at NAS Point Mugu when I was with VP-65 and VFA-305. They deployed to Christchurch, New Zealand and Mc Murdo Station, Antarctica, along with a small compliment of UH1-N Hueys.

Great repaint Gregory! Had alot of friends in that Squadron, brings back many happy memories for me!:9 ;) :-)

Thanks for looking and the positive comments gentlemen, as I said earlier I still have some work to do on her...and I can't release the textures till after the aircraft is released to the public, but you can be sure she'll be ready! A Belgian bird is possible, it seems my request list just keeps getting longer and longer for several types of aircraft! lol So, it might be a bit before I can do a Belgian paint for ya! But, I won't forget...
