Default My Turn with the P-3....Part One

    Hi Guys,

I know...it's been a long time since I've been promising pictures, but if you had any idea what this year has been like so far! All is well, if hectic. Hope you are all doing well too.

I love the new P-3 from KBT! Along with my Active Sky clouds, it makes for some nice shots too. (At least I think so!) I hope you like them too.

This was a trip from Duluth Minnesota, to Thunder Bay Ontario along the north shore of Lake Superior.

    Take care all!

    Chuck :)

Peer, Hello there! Long time no talk! Hope you and Bianca are well. I hear you're having a bit of a heat wave over there! We're about to experience our second one of the season...time to turn up the air conditioning! Greets, and hugs to Bianca!

Flo-- Thank you sir! Coming from one of the most prolific and artistic posters, your comments are always appreciated!

    Take Care!

    Great shots Chuck!!!

    Some worthless trivia....

BUNO: 153442 rolled off the assymbly line as a P-3B in July or Aug of 1967, in Nov 1969 she was modified into the YP-3C, the prototype for the P-3C program. Later she was again modified as into a RP-3D and capable of flying both the Seascan and Birdseye Projects with VXN-8. In the mid 90's VXN-8 was dis-establisded and the Naval Research Lab picked up the Seascan, Birdseye, and Magnet projects from VXN-8. Since VXN-8's dis-establishment in the mid 90's she's spent time with the Naval Research Lab, the US Naval Test Pilot School, and is now with VXS-1, which is what used to be called NRL. Somewhere around 2000, she along with a lot of the derivitive P-3's, in an effort to try and organize P-3 designations a little better was redesignated a NP-3D... EP-3A's, EP-3B's, EP-3J's, RP-3A's, RP-3D's(think that's all of 'em) were apart of the redesignation to NP-3D.
