I detoured a bit and flew over St John , New Brunswick and took a high altitude shot. I made a gif animated overlaying this and a map I found and the results are incredible. This shows how close the landclass , road, river and shoreline data is from 'Ultimate Terrain'

Thanks guys ... seeing all this detail is a blast! I couldn't believe how well the map and screenshot matched up :-D

I might do this for some major cites in Canada just to check things out.

I wonder when they will get the US ultimate terrain done. The download for that will be massive (if Canada/Alaska = 300megs then mainland US should be roughly x10, I imagine = 3 gigs ...yikes!)
