If this is Kazunori Ito's Raptor, I would say that all of this author's aircraft are framerate-friendly. I can't say how much it is due to a lack of VC, but in any case... I'm happy for you. :)
SIGLINE: "Stealth is where it's not." :D
kool, do you think the pix are any good?
Hi Kurt,
That's a great piece of machinery - Nice Shots too - I like #4 especially and oh,(edit) the last one - Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!:)
kelly
yep and its all thanks to some changes in the fs9.cfg file and my radeon X300 SE PCI, the worst card you can get lol. Call me stupid but what do you mean about that (edit) thing? I dont think the last one is all that good lol
Nice shots, there. :)
Is the X300 better than the 9600? Just asking, because I can get those frames easily in that sort of area.
really with those graphics? well the X300 is one of the worst cards you can get for fs9 but i managed to customize and tweak it to the best level but pretty much any card can get frame rates like on them pics! O well im getting a new card soon anyway, probably a geforce 6600.
I don't know too much about video cards, but I have a GeForce 5700 and I get horrible FPS. Maybe the 6600 is better, but I have all the detail bars set to about 50% and my fps ranges between 7-22. (7 at airports like JFK)
post a picture of your game, if the fps are that bad try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to get rid of any add on planes/scenery, or if you dont want to right click on your desktop click properties the settings tab then advanced. Click on the tab that lets you change your graphics card settings and move them at least 1 notch to the left. 20 fps is playerble but anything less its difficult to fly. Mine is about 26 when taking off and landing and 30 in the air. Dont put it on unlimited though because the fps could change from 78 to about 18 which would cause the game to stutter, there is no point anyway because from what ive herad the card wouldnt reach that so try locking the fps on 40 that gives it the ability to go higher if it can.
I saw a real one of these for the first time yesterday afternoon flying over my house. They build them in Marietta, GA and I live about 12 miles from the Lockheed assembly plant. It had a spotter jet following it- it must have been on it's first flight?
Anyway, nize shots!!!
Take care,
Cliff
