Back to Jersey from Alderney

Can't get enough of flying :-jumpy Here are some shots of a flight with the Cessna 172R from EGJA back to EGJJ. We are going to take the long route by overflying Guernsey :-cool

Parked in the grass. Looks like a great day for some flying, allthough the winds are very strong :-eek

Approaching and overflying Guernsey and EGJB on the south coast. Jersey is barely visible in the distance, as you can see in the third shot :)

Approach and landing at EGJJ. The winds are still pretty strong for the Cessna :-eek At least it takes me a lot of effort to keep it straight :-lol This has got to be a fun landing! :-jumpy

Well, I didn't make it at first. The Cessna on the runway cost me a go around... :-roll And I was lining up soooo pretty :9

loverly! the "bad scanner" screen is great :-)

ps. you may want to try less flaps (and more than "published" speed) with winds like that ;-)
