Thread: Config Files

1. Default Config Files

It's a long story but the short version is that I'm trying to get a new twin power quad/switch panel working properly. In that process, I somehow ended up with THREE config files in the fs2k2 root folder. One is fs2002.cfg, another is fs2002.CFG and the third is fs2002dw.cfg.

I would imagine that the first two are true duplicates and one or the other needs to be removed. But what is the dw.cfg file? Does it belong there along with the .cfg??
thanks

LAST EDITED ON Feb-08-02 AT 11:13AM (EDT)[p]fs2002dw.cfg is generated by Microsofts problem feedback software. It and a directx file are sent to microsoft for their data gathering folks. You can delete it without worry. The next time your fs2002 halts for some reason, it will produce another file.
