Hello everybody,

I would lie if I said that I'm not a litte bit disappointed... I used to post quite a bit here, several years ago, considered this forum my "home-forum" once, and as such, there are nicer things than seeing a whole thread turning against me, two gentlemen calling me "bad-mannered", "not educated", a third one calling my face ugly, others consoling the original poster (whose pictures, by the way, I repeatedly called beautiful, stunning, well done), for the sole reason that I took the freedom of not liking a controversial FS2004 model with proportions that are somewhat off its real-life counterpart.

Does it matter whether I like the reactions or not? Sure doesn't. A forum is to be enjoyed by the majority of its participants, and if the majority doesn't appreciated anything other than pure praise, then so be it.

What remains is to hint to the reaction of the original poster ("the post was to show off the clouds in FS Sky World 2004. To each his own as they say!"), which has pretty much been my point, and to remind of the fact that only he (and Peer, as usual) have supplied this thread with wonderful pictures, all a pleasure to look at.

I'm off for good... I'll check back in half a year or so. I'm aware that the next posts will be along the lines of "cry me a river" and "good you're gone", which demonstrates that this forum has changed quite a bit.

Well said amigo. You brought this on yourself Sir Ben. For an adult, that comment of yours is "un-called for". The rules clearly stated that freedom of speech does not exist here. It is a private forum. :-)

There is no real-life counter part. The shape of this aircraft is still being altered by the BOEING design team. They are hoping to solidify the final version next year. I have different conceptual 3-view drawings of this a/c since I first started it March 2004. It is under constant change. I think the other posters were concerned with the choice of words. I don't mind the criticism if it can be backed up with specific details.

Yes, that is truly a great addon. Finally i can have 3D clouds on at a very high setting without frame loss :D

--> That's what I think. Absolutely right Carlos. It is easy to "criticize" a product, in this case a model, but it is hard to provide a better one Ben.

Some very short sighted views going on here..rara_bb states that he thinks the 7E7 is 'ugly as hell' (and I have to agree with him) and you all decide that he's being disrespectful to doering.?
I've been away from here a while, can someone remind me where in the terms and conditions, it say's that all opinions have to be positive..
