How does a picture of a warplane glorifying death serve the memory of nearly 3000 innocent people killed in an act of terrorism? Help me out here as i'm lost with these supposedly tribute shots showing combat aircraft to remember the dead.

I believe these shots serves the memory of the many innocent victims, and that there is many a person out there to defend the ongoing freedom of our democratic society. Just as we did in WW2. B17's remind me of many souls that went out to fight a good cause. We must defend our rights, and thank those who go out and do it on a daily basis.

And it is a wonderful shot!

whoa... sorry pal. Would a piper cub be better next time? I choose the A10 because it served a rather large roll in the fight on terrorism in the middle east..

Thanks for all the possitive comments, guys :)

And that serves the memory of the victims of terrorism how? All your post does using the image of a warplane is to glorify war and make it seem some glamorous high speed game. Why use any plane to remember the needless death of thousands of people who were killed by having planes flown into where they worked and lived? It's utterly pointless and sullies the memory of those people.

You need to see a picture of a B-17 to be reminded of people killed in the second world war?
How does an image of a warplane help to defend the ongoing freedom of your democratic society ? All it does is glamourise a machine that is used to kill people, often completely innocent bystanders.
Does an image of a warplane on a website defend your rights?
The use of the image of a warplane on a day when we should be remembering those killed 2 years ago is a disgrace.

How about you quit posting in this thread already? I requested feedback on the shot, not your opinion on the war.

First of all, I'm not glorifying war in any way here. War should only be used in a last resort scenario. Whenever a life is lost, in no way is that a game.

How about this, lets just say I was out on a practice run doing the pattern.. just for you.

I'm just gonna have this post locked. Its seems a certian someone can't act his age.
