Thread: More WA shots

    Default More WA shots

After spending the day at Ranger Creek (21W) it's time to take off and head to 39P Strom Field. Addons used are the same as for the previous WA flight.

I love flying at dusk. There's just a lot more depth and realism to the scenery at this time of day.

I higly recommend this flight. I'm using FScene 2004 for textures, but if you don't have that, you can use the freeware replacement textures from 2004_wood_desert.zip (at the "other" site and possibly here as well). They don't provide the same kind of "depth" to the woods as FScene does but it's much better than default.

You can use any aircraft you like of course, but I like to fly something like a Piper Cub, Apache or another classic plane. Also, get some VFR charts (paper charts or downloaded) since there are no navaids to fly by. I'm using the WACs from VFR Atlas by Desktop Wings.

39P is from Georender 6. Georender 6 is almost my favorite Georender scenery. I actually prefer it over Orcas Island. Orcas is of course more detailed and there are more animations, but S86 and 39P are the perfect places to go when you want to be alone for a while :-lol

Sorry for the number of shots. I'll take a break after these to let the server recover :)

No captions this time. Enjoy these shots :)

    Hello, Jimmy (hejsan)

Quick question for you. I purchased Georender 6 as well, but I don't have any of the ambient sounds or animations. You're supposed to toggle it on and off with the 'active scenery' button on the Lago drop down menu in FS. Do you have that on yours? Do you hear birds? Pickup trucks driving about?

    Thanks
