2 player Multi player??

OK Im sorry if I sound totally dumb, but my friend just got FS2k2 and tonight we want to fly, can we do this just with us two ? In other words do we have to use Zone or other or can we just connect our 2 Pcs and fly? and How do we connect game voice to do this as well. Thanks in advance.

Go on the zone and assign a password to your game. Use Roger Wilco for chat, or connect using your IP address!

Go to the multiplayer section.

There is no need to go to the zone. One of you must connect HOSTing the session, and the other must search for sessions at the host's IP address, then click JOIN. The only requirement is for the one joining to know the IP for the HOST.

If you both have Windows ME or later, you can set up the voice chat thingy in the game controller, but if not, you can talk to each other using Netmeeting -- works well for my buddy and me.
