This big French flying boat may look odd and ugly nowadays, but it did some great PR work for aviation. Between 1935 and 1939 it did some major record breaking flights. In 1939 it made a 5875 km flight, 206 km/h average. It had two decks, the lower deck had a big saloon with 20 chairs and tables, 6 luxury cabines with bathroom and a cabin for 20 passengers. The upper deck had a cabin for 18 passengers and a room for mechanics and flightcrew. 6 12-cilinder 650 hp Hispano-Suiza engines were mounted. I hope you like the shots of this "beauty"!
