This is the coolest aircraft iv seen in s long time. Thanks for this great blimp Bill Lyons. The only problem i have with it is that it is real touchy when it comes to overstressing the thing.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-29-02 AT 07:16AM (EDT)[p]I sispect that Bill tested the craft without stress damage turned on.
I edited the air file with AirEd. You can't do it with the FS EDIT as you can't get to the parameters with that program.
In 1101 Flight Dynamics I raised all the G limit settings:
Positive G Limit 1:6744
Negative G Limit 1:-4404
Positive G Limit 2:4872
Negative G Limit 2:-4404
It doesn't crash in the air so fast now.
I also edited the aircraft.cfg Just for fun.
empty_weight_roll_MOI=8200.
empty_weight_pitch_MOI=8200.
empty_weight_yaw_MOI=8200.
This is a great work by Bill.
I particularly like the VC with the working ceiling fan :)

When you find a good aircraft do us and the developer a favour by telling us where to find it Ta!
It's available here in the new files section.

I have to agree,its a beauty,if anybody has wanted to fly a blimp its a must have. I love the VC for sighteseeing and to be able to pan around almost 360 degress. Its slow speed lets me crank up the scenery sliders and see all the eyecandy that FS has to offer on a low end PC like mine. I sent Bill a thank you E-Male yesterday and he sent me one back, I thought that was great.

Yep.It's a beauty.Great for sightseeing.I had trouble holding the elevation so I added a auto pilot.If you want one just go into the panel .cfg and after gauge19 type in gauge20=lear_45.autopilot,368,3,178 (provided you have the lear 45.)I hope Bill doesn't mind.
This blimb is amazing...I love the detail...
When the parking brakes are applied you get the tethers. The ceiling fan...the interior light...all beautiful...
I don't find any problems with stability or the fragiltiy of the stresses (remember this thing has a top speed of 45 mph).
Fantastic craft..kudos to the developer.
