Good day everyone. :) Thanks for the favorable comments.
Yes, John ... Yosemite valley once again. The whole huge park is done in absolute stunning detail with the freeware 9.6 meter mesh by Justin @ FSGenesis. His meticulous attention to detail is truly amazing with the valley roads & stream displayed where they should be & not riding up the rock walls. Would be nice to post some screenshot scenes from the rest of the park as well ... an place of uncommon beauty & grandeur. Hmmm ... guess this is my new project, eh? :D Will post these later after today's flight. Will likely be a sizable post ... apologies to 56K dial-up users ahead of time, though I will also make another "1 screenshot" post to accompany the larger one which will contain the one shot I consider to be "Best of Show" of the bunch.
As noted in another recent post of mine: a couple of small, minor tweaks must be performed in the FS9.cfg file in order to get this very-high detail mesh to work right as, from what I gather, FS2004 is not set up to display it as is. Where to find all of the necessary information concerning how to do this is located beside this download @ FSGenesis. Additionally, it makes good sence to have already installed an underlying 38 meter mesh as well as an underlying structure. Many already have a 19 m mesh enhancement to be found within the Yosemite area. This makes the terrain display transitions less dramatic & more smooth, along with other positive display effects.
Again, my gratitude to all those who stopped by to take a peek & leave a response.
