    Default Would there be any interest....

    ...in a simple tweak of the default Lear 45 panel? Taking a cue from Jeff Snyder's nicely done tweaks of the default Cessna and Baron panels, I've made a few minor modifications to the Lear Panel. I replaced the default GPS with the Honeywell GPS gauge by Ike Slack and adjusted its position. I also adjusted the position of the throttle panel.

    Here's some preview shots;

    You can see that I placed the GPS gauge over the EICAS display when it's called up. The throttle display is now out of the way as well.

    Let me know,
    Dave

    Ironically, someone else has already done what you show a few days ago... The effect is quite similar, but he included an avionics switch as well

    Nice job on the panel. I always found the location of the default gps annoying because it came up in front of the sim icons. Are you going to post it somewhere or can I request it from you?

    Thanks

    Someone has done this for the Lear 45? Where's it posted as I haven't seen it.

    Hehe, great minds think alike Dave!

    Check out this link to the "Support the Lear" thread:

    I have pictures of the tweaked Lear45 panel I am going to be releasing along with a new paint job, sounds, and flight dynamics as soon as all the permissions by different authors are given.

    You will notice the similarities. :)

    That's too funny! :-lol OK, I'll defer to your impending release. Looks like we have about the same idea overall however yours is a bit more complex (which I like). I've also adjusted the annunciator and mag compass windows. Let me know if you're interested in the settings and I'll e-mail you a copy of what I've done.
    I love the Lear and was very disappointed when MS didn't update it to FS2002 standards. None the less, it's a great looking aircraft and is worthy of our attention.

    PS; I like the repaint in your shots. Have you tried the "King" repaint by Garry Smith? It's very nice and is available here;
