Steve goes big! :)
She's painted on the Meljet 744F. Slightly ficticious, as Fedex never flew a 744F, but they did fly a 200. But, I couldn't find a -200 I liked (yet).
I painted her on request for Virtual FedEx for the Memphis Hub Manager (they needed one). :) Anyway, I really like her, and added some pretty good detail as you can see. All I have left is the reg and American flag on the rear, and the night textures...then she's ready for service with FedEx. ;)
I added a lot of grime and streaks to her, just as a freighter should look! :)

Opening rear cargo with FedEx containers and a good shot of the detailed vertical stab.

I even painted the winglets to match. :)

In this shot, you can see an effect I'm particularly proud of. I just learned how to use a new masking technique that let me apply a pretty convincing fade effect of the purple paint on the top of the fuse. :)
I also added some dirt to the wings.

You can see in this pic that I cleaned up the leading edge on the tail.

Hope the guys over there at Virtual FedEd like her.
Hehe, you guys must be wonderin' "Is there nothing that Steve won't paint?" :-lol I'll give you a hint...if it flies, its fair game! :)
