Default Round the World Tour 2003/4 Leg 3

    Hi Guys,
Well, after a nice yet short night in Nassau it is an early morning start to get us to the beautiful beaches of Santo Domingo. I will be landing at Las Americas airport (I believe it is a very beautiful approach if you get rwy 35!).

So, it's time to let this 737 stretch her legs as we get ready to let the executive passengers on board:

And up we go, the gear up nice and early as we accelerate past V2:

Turning on course, I thought that this was a nice shot:

Climbing as the day gets brighter, but there are thunderstroms forecast way over in Santo Domingo:

Thought that this was a rather nice pic as we make a climbing turn. This 737 looks apprehensive as we head into some cloud:

Climbing with the wing view once again:

Then next 2 or 3 pics are of some beautiful sea:

Well down in the descent - notice the mist and cloud hanging in the valleys - there are some large thunderstorms around but we are not right in the middle, so it is quite humid outside:

Now, I thought that the sea looked loveley here - just about to turn onto finals for Runway 35:

Aaaaaaand, a nice smooth touchdown in the hot weather of Santo Domingo:

Wing view about 2 feet above the runway:

Turning into the gate. Welcome to Santo Domingo!

And finally, parked up and cooled down:

There we are, I hope that you have enjoyed the shots. Feel free to leave a comment! My next leg (Leg 4) is to Caracas, so you might want to look at that one Carlos! Once again, hope you enjoyed the shots!
