Hello all,

I doubt I'm posting in the right place, but I ask for your help anyhow.;-) All of a sudden, the fonts on web pages have become enormous, and it's rather irritating. Here is an 640X480 shot, reduced from 1024X768, so that you might be able to see what I'm looking at when I'm at this forum...

Can anyone let me know how I might change this? ANY help is appreciated!!

This has sometimes happened to me. Assuming that you're running IE5/5.5/6, select View, Text Size and see what its set to. Chances are that it will have "jumped" to Largest. Just re-set to Medium or smaller.

I you are running IE5.5 or 6 just hold down the control key and use your mouse wheel to either increase or decrease the text size.

Or you can go to the View menu in the toolbar, select text size and select the size you like.

Oh dear...thank you both a thousand times over...it was sitting under my nose, PER USUAL, and I didn't even THINK to look there! Again, a thousand thanks!!

LOL.. I found that mouse and Ctrl option quite a while back by accident. Also... Alt/F4 will close pop-up windows.....

...and if you want to close a lot of windows together, just hold down the control key and click the corresponding buttons on the taskbar, then Alt-F4 away! :) They all get selected and close together!

PS - Sorry for how amateurish this may sound to Windows 'veterans', as the alt-f4 thing did to me...:)

Don't worry about it - everyone has their own shortcuts, and very few know them all. I'm constantly surprised how many long-time PC/Windows users still haven't discovered F3 for Search and F5 for Refresh ....

I knew about the f5/refresh, but not the f3/search! They say you learn something everyday, so I guess I'm done for today.:-)

I can now just kick back and goof off.

That doesn't seem to work on NT 4, but it works great on 98! Huh, never knew about that one.
