Have you tried zoomign in to it all the way and then zooming back out? SOmetimes that will fix blurry textures, Im not sure fi ti will work in your case though...perhaps you should sharpen it manually in your paintign program

Textures aren't sharp, eh?

Did you remove the mip maps in DXTBmp.. or Imagetool? (never used Imagetool) I always save my textures in 32bit.. you get the best quality then :)
