Default Engine stops when changing views

I believe this has been answered before but I can't find it. I just received FS2002 and am moving some FS2000 planes into it, mostly my own. Some of them work as is but others have a common problem; when I change from spot view to cockpit view the engine(s) stop. I can start them again but they don't stay running. I don't think I have the "dead battery" problem but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks-------Paul

Some third party gauges, especially FS98 style gauges that simulate starters, will kill the engines if view is changed, light is toggled and panel is resized. Try to locate and remove them from the panel.

Thanks Arnie, You were absolutely right. I just fixed my brand new FSDS Aeronca C-3 by replacing the FS98 push thottle with Chuck Domes moving hand throttle. This plane only had 4 other gauges; I had used some FS98 gauges by J L Stubbs because they had white faces and they seem to work ok. Now my B-18A has over 30 FS98 gauges---------YUK! Cheers----Paul
