Jetdemon,
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try your suggestion of a "hot start" right now and see if I can't get ATC working. After a lot of experimentation, I did find the solution to the problem that you mention about starting up. If you're like me, you tried to actually use your throttle in the startup routine. For some reason, this craft just won't work that way. To get it to start, follow the exact procedure that you've been using, but instead of using the throttle just set it at idle. Then use the "ctrl-shift-f1" combo to set it to idle cutoff. Then click turbo, let it spool up, and when the yellow turbo light is lit, click the engine start button. Immediately after that, set it to idle by pressing "ctrl-shift-f4". It should start up just fine. For some reason, it isn't possible to use just your throttle for the startup; you have to use the throttle key combos as well. Go figure. Good luck, and let me know if it gives you any heat! BTW, the above instructions assume you're running FS2002 -- but why would you be in this forum if you weren't? ;-)
