During an ILS approach all seems to be going well. On at least some of my large jets I get to about 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the runway and come up short (hitting the ground or water).
Any suggestions?

If you're using the autopilot for your approaches, you have to watch your airspeed. If you're too slow the sim's autopilot isn't able to keep the airplane on the glideslope.
If the approach is flown by hand, keep localizer and glideslope centered (I shouldn't mention that!).
If you're still landing too short, it must be a bug in the sim!
It is a bug in the sim sort of. Flight sim APR hold i don't believe will push the nose above 0 degrees. This means you can be decending faster than 500 ft a minute because you can't pitch up. Also FS seems to intercept the needle a little too early. I use the autopilot hold until I'm about 1000 ft above the ground, then I slow up my decent and land the plane by hand.

If you have the weather loaded up.......clicking on the b key when nearing the airport and just on starting descent will put the exact airport pressure (altimeter setting).if one is available at the airport you r landing on.Otherwise...you can....undershoot the runway or overshoot it.You have to have the exact altimeter setting for the airport elevation to be correct.....so that the a/c flies it right.
