Where in the world am I?

One of the outdoors reporters on a local TV news station has a neat segment every now & again where he goes out into some of the local backcountry and has the cameraman film him as he describes some of the local terrain, features, etc. However, he never quite gives away his location. Instead, they have a contest for folks to call in & guess where he is based on the video in the segment.

Thought it'd be a whole lot of fun to do the same thing Flight Sim-style, so here goes! Can you guess where I'm flying from and to? I won't give any clues except the photos, so don't beg. Besides, this first one should be pretty easy, especially to folks like lnuss... ;-)

Great set of shots, thanks for sharing them. Is that that Uluru rock thing in the first shot? My only guess is the Outback somewhere or Utah.

It's definitely not Australia though ;-) This was in the continental U.S.

Ok... one hint ;-): I landed in a different state than I took off from.

You're half-right, although you didn't guess which airports ;-)
