MY FIRST REPAINT! Just a quick preview...

Oh well, I expected to finish it tonight so I could show it here tomorrow, but I just couldn't resist, I'm sorry :-lol I don't want to say too much before I finish it completely, so here's just a quick preview. Don't worry, you'll get 15-20 shots when I post the finished product ;-)

Ok, here it is, the FFX Boeing 727-200 in the AeroPerú "25th years" colour scheme. This airline used to be Perú's flag carrier and the largest airline around, but then, unfortunately, ceased operations because of financial problems.

The aircraft is nearly complete, though I have to finish the tail yet. As you can see, the tail logo needs a bit of extra work, and yet I have to add the "25 years" logo on the engine intake and the lines of metal plates ;-)

The dynamic shine adds a lot of life to this livery, since the lines are composed of flat, single colours (no fancy stuff ;-))

Like I said, I don't want to say much (though I'm a bit excited for this being my first repaint and all), perhaps tomorrow I'll have it 100% finished and then you'll see, I'll load up this forum with shots ;-) Just kidding. All I want to say for now is thanks to Ashley Flynn who has been helping me and giving me some tips and advice... Ok, pretty much he taught me to repaint, so thanks Ash, I hope you like it! ;-)

Very well done. Cant wait to see it when it is all done. I have tried repainting and i just dont have the pacients, i did one of the 210 but didnt come out as great as yours.
