Problem with Project Opensky FS2002 Flight Dynamics

Hi All,
Using FS2002 I tried to take a 15 hour flight in one of Project Opensky’s 744 but 9 hours into the flight I ran out of fuel . I have installed the 2002 flight dynamics and no matter what step climb procedure I use, I run out of fuel on any flight over eight and half hours. I did the same journey in the default 744 and I made it with no problems . Am I the only one having this problem and is there any thing I can do to solve it…???? Anyone with any ideas..??

Take out the air and the model files from the problem aircraft and substitute them with PSS files (if you have them) or the default air and model files if you don't have the PSS files. You probably don't have to swap both air and model file, but I am not sure which one controls fuel burn. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem when flying a polar route from KJFK to VHHH. Ran out of fuel over northern Russia, after about 9-10 hours. I posted the problem to the Project Opensky Forum and it seems others have experienced the same thing.

I'm trying to solve this on my own and unfortunately will not have time to do it this weekend but if and when I solve it I will let you know.

Unfortunately this makes me realize that some of the groups that we assume to be experts are just human like the rest of us. I guess you can't test everything before you release a product. I know it's freeware, but it's still a product in every respect.
