weird looking textures????

Can anybody help me on this every plane in fs2004 looks blurry like this, all aircraft details maxed out????

What graphics card are you using?

Heej I'm using a S3 graphics Twister 32 MB shared videocard, I know it's not a good one but fs 2002 was okay, and it's only on aircraft and some buildings the rest is fine.

In the settings on FS, go into Display, then Aircraft, and try to increase the texture size for the aircraft. It's going to hit the frame rates, since you only have 32MB, but that is usually what causes these blurred graphics.

I've already tried this ALL aircraft textures are maxed out, still blurry??

Hmmmmm... Don't know then. Have you tried maxing out all the sliders, just to see if that does anything? You won't be able to fly, but you should be able to see if this clears up. Also, what happens when you pause the sim and wait. Maybe the texture files are held hostage in your swap file and can't make it to the screen fast enough to display properly. It's all I can think of. Sorry I'm not more help.

Well, a last resort might just be re-installing FS2004..might work..maybe some texture files got messed up during the installation.

Thank you everybody for the input, the problem is solved:)

a fresh install and the global max texure size on massive did the trick, thanks again:D

my next problem is to get out before the storm reaches the airport:P
