There is a bar along the top of the flag that holds it out, the bends in the cloth are there because there is reduced gravity that would cause the flag to hang straight down.

she's the best science teacher in my school to be honest, and she usually corrects other teachers.. but... its not like she would know how the flag was made would she?
That's true Mike. I'm a little concerned about her teaching droves of people that the US never went to the Moon though. There actually is an organization that thinks the world is flat and they are trying to prove their point. It just falls along the same lines...
