    Default Check out these FPS!

I took some screenshots with FS2004 to show how my FPS are. I got one big problem though. Why do i get my worst FPS in the 2D cockpit view when that is where i got my best FPS in FS2002? This is really bothering me.

Well even without the panel i still get like only 19 FPS. But with the default 172 WITH the panel i get 26. Seems like addon panels ##### with FPS.

Geesh, you're still gettin good frames where it counts - in the DVC! ( Atleast to me ). I lock mine at 20 and am happy with it if the whole game, wether outside, inside, DVC, whatever are what I lock it at. Though, I have it pretty well maxed out,,,,,,,,,

Guess you'll have to say bye-bye to cruddy old 2-D's! I never liked them and chunked them the day DVC's came out in FS2002

When I was running FS2k2, I always had AA set in the card menu and also had the AA box checked in the sim settings. I recently installed the newest driver and noticed my frames in FS2k2 in 2d cockpit were now aweful. So, I unchecked the AA box in the sim leaving AA forced on in the card menu. That solved the problem. I now have great frames in both 2d and 3d views. Don't know if that's your problem, but thought I'd mention it.

I see that many people got those great textures for the runway. Where can I get them or is it a setting?

I already have the AA running just on the card and not on the application. Thats not the prob, but thanks for the suggestion. But check this out, in the dreamfleet plane if i press SHIFT+1 it gets rid of the little box for viewing and fills the screen, but look at the fps.
