Hi all-
As a way of passing the time until the release of FS2004, and saying goodbye to FS2002, fellow forum member Ray Davidowski and I have decided to do a tour of the US and perhaps the entire world, depending on how long we hold out ;-). We're obviously following in the footsteps of Florian, who is now nearing the end of his tour. Florian, if you see this, thanks for the inspiration, and good luck on the rest of your tour! We're flying all of the legs using FS2002's multiplayer function. As you probably already know, this function allows up to 16 pilots to fly at once, so if anyone else wants to join us for future legs, feel free! For more information on when we are going to do the next leg, contact me on AOL Instant Messenger. My screen name is RightFlankr.
Leg 1:
Departure Airport: McVille (P37), Freeport, Pennsylvania
Arrival Airport: Clermont County (aka Sporty's), (I69), Batavia, Ohio
Cruising Altitude: 8500 Ft.
Cruising Speed: 165 KIAS
Time: 1.6 Hours
Summary: A nice leg. We ran into some very low visibility enroute, but we were fine. We ended at the airport where Sporty's Pilot Shop is located. Nice, smooth landings for both of us :-). Look for us to continue heading west in the next leg.

Dosen't it bother you that just as you're trying to make a smooth touchdown in an Airbus, the GPWS shouts "RETARD, RETARD" at you?
