Hi Ashley,
Have a close look at the tail bitmap and see if the alpha channel is correct or that the file is not corrupted. It seems that it is missing the upper half of the texture. Also verify that it is in the correct format...it should probably be in DXT3 format and include an alpha channel.

Hope this helps a little,
Michel

Just noticed something Ashley,
Look how far forward the tail pivot point is in the second photo. You probably just missaligned that part of the bitmap?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-20-03 AT 04:48PM (EDT)[p]If your formats are correct, then you may have one file name wrong. Just pull each texture bmp up with the DXTBmp program and see that you have the correct file name for the textures you are viewing.
Make sure that you have not accidently overlapped some texture on the bmp file. It doesn't take much.

Hi Ashley

I'm not a repainter myself and maybe stating the obvious, but I presume that the texture on one side of the tailfin would be a mirror image of the other side. From your shots it looks like the texture on the right side is a copy of the left side instead of a mirror. Therefore, it doesn't fit.

Hey guys

Thanks for the help..

Before reading the replies, I had a look at the blank textures, and compared them to the repaints that Rey had given me... this was the result...
