I have a weak PC as well ... have you tried to turn off aircraft shadows and reflections? Makes life acceptable on my machine. UT can't do miracles, only add lots of real world AI ;)

Uh yeah, I dont have any shadows, ( might have in that shot, but thats it, just for the shot), reflections, FSAA/AT filtering, or anything. IT just bogged down my system. Sure, I mght be able to fly with default planes, but who flies with those. Combine UT on MY pc with a great A/c like the meridian, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to fly.

I never bought the Meridian because my computer would hardly be able to display this plane alone ;) AMD Duron at 1 GHz is not really a killer machine ... but I get along.
