Default American Airlines MD-80 enroute on my favorite route.... :-)

    Hi all,

I've finally taken up simming again, have a little time on my hands now! :-jumpy. So, if it is no surprise to anybody, I started off with my favorite route, SFO-LAX, except I twisted it up with mad thunderstorms and crazy winds. Gotta see if I'm rusty! :-lol Forgive me if they dont come out, I tried increasing the brightness and the file sizes are extremely small. These 14 amount to about 6 of my normal pics. Next flight, Holland. I swear. ;-) Enjoy and I welcome any comments.

Awesome pics man!. Of course my favorite is the 3rd from last one, where all the rubber is burning lol. I love shots like that. Even when I'm flying in real life I'll fly as close to the runway as possible to get a good climps of those 767's burning up the runway. :D:D

    Mike

Think before you speak, ok?. Look at Jason's sig, do you see a Boeing 757 on it?. ;-)

What I meant was that he is a Boeing 757 fan, and i'm suprised he didnt post shots of a Boeing 757. Don't worry, Jason would have understood it as a joke.

    Hey guys!

Arguing are we?!? :-lol I do love the 757, in fact I was really tempted to use it on my first flight...as I am every time.. ;-)

Mike and Chris- Thanks for the nice comments!! I was surprised at that first one, got pretty lucky there with the lightning strike! And I do like those shots as well Chris, moreso the sounds of a rough touchdown.

Ashley- Thanks! I've come to realize that you are one of the fans of the 757 on this site as well. Wouldnt be surprised to see some shots of it from you in the future... Gotta love that Poppy! :-)

    Thanks again guys, much appreciated!

    Jason,

I've been a Boeing 757 fan ever since I began to like aeroplanes (I was about 2 years old). I got to see them land at EGLL everyday, always in the BA livery. The Boeing 757 rapidly became one of the first planes I could recognise and has always been a firm favourite ever since.

I agree, gotta love that Poppy, however G-BPEK is in her normal scheme now :-roll Gotta wait a couple of months for the Poppy scheme to come back ;-) :D

But eventually it gravitated toward airliners. I was impressed with the 757 at a later age. When I went to Hawaii years back on an AA, I was so impressed with the climb power on her. Amazing! It was a very smooth flight as well. I love watching her take off if I happen to run into one on my biking trips. I also went to Hawaii on an ATA 757-300, and that is just as impressive! Great flight, the only problem was getting off the plane took forever!
That's interesting about the Poppy, do they announce which plane it will be on next?

Harry, thanks! I was very surprised with the performance on that model. Made the sim very enjoyable.
